Job Description:
A company is looking for a Healthcare Coding Analyst.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research and analysis of appeals data to identify trends
and recommend best practices
Prepare responses for provider-related coding appeals ensuring
compliance with coding rules
Coordinate activities of coding projects and serve as a liaison for
coding policy issues
Required Qualifications and Education
2+ years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree
3 years of relevant medical coding/claims experience in a
healthcare setting
At least one certification such as CPC or CCS
Expected to enroll in continuing education courses to maintain
certification
Ability to apply critical thinking to coding policy
interpretation
