Job Description:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering
an exceptional customer experience that will allow the product line
to capture value in the market. It will face a variety of customer
request, the most frequent will be request for pricing, product
application advice and delivery orders for next day. You will be
responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service by
taking customer orders accurately and courteously to allow the
Dispatcher to arrange for on-time delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
* Provide sales support to current and new customers
* Receive orders and schedule them properly.
* Give pricing for FOB customers.
* Record customer orders accurately through direct order entry into
Command
* Guide and recommend products for specific applications and ensure
product availability
* Work very closely with Dispatchers to ensure customer commitments
can be achieved
* Record all changes requested by customer accurately and promptly
in Command and advise the Dispatcher of such changes as soon as
they have been recorded
* Responsible for O2C efficiency through attention to detail timely
correction to errors
* Assist and participate in new initiatives and projects (keeping
track of drivers allowed on a specific job site, calculate
distribution KPIs)
* Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering
to health, safety and environmental policies in all work
environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit
these behaviors.
* Other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Associate's degree
Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Business
Required Work Experience: 1-3 years
Required Computer and Software Skills: Command, Lotus Notes,
Microsoft Office, Trimble, and Google Earth
Additional Requirements:
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Must be able to work in a high stressed, fast paced
environment
* Execution of best practices to provide a consistent and
standardized customer experience
* Knowledge of products, market geography, and product
applications
* Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and
proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment
("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that
are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the
respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and
quantitative fit tests.
