Role Overview: Sodexo is seeking a -Registered Dietitian -for Lehigh Valley Health Network located in -Allentown, PA. - Cedar Crest Hospital is an 800 bed Level 1 Trauma, Level 3 NICU, Teaching Hospital with 120 ICU beds and 17 dietitians on staff. - This position will cover multiple ICUs, have order writing privileges for nutrition support, actively participate on the TPN team, and the opportunity to learn to place small bore feeding tubes. - What You'll Do: provide nutritional care for a variety of ICU units;be involved in hospital wide initiatives;have opportunities to participate in research projects;perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses; andprecept dietetic interns. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire -Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
